This past summer, the Molloy College women’s lacrosse team participated in a “Shootout For Soldiers” event, which raised money for the Wounded Warrior Project, Lead The Way Fund, Gary Sinise Fund and Sempre Fi Fund. The event in total raised nearly $80,000.

Gabrielle Batista, Nicole Lunger, Angela Bollatieri, Alexa Watson and Laura Rice volunteered their time at the event, while Ariana Cavallone, Katie O’Brien and Head Coach Tom Campolettano played in a game. The event was a 24-hour fundraiser.

On Sunday, Sept. 21, the women’s lacrosse team hosted a special needs clinic in conjunction with the Long Island Metropolitan Lacrosse Foundation. The clinic took place at the Dean G. Skelos Sports Complex in Rockville Centre, N.Y.
